The Búbal Formigal 3000 complex is located in the municipality of Biescas, close to the locality of Piedrafita de Jaca. It was built at the foot of the Búbal Reservoir, in a picturesque setting that is ideal for holidays, whether for nature or adventure tourism in summer or skiing in winter.
The complex is located only 15 km from the Aramón-Formigal ski resort and barely 10 km from the Aramón-Panticosa resort, making it a perfect base for ski enthusiasts.
It lies 145 km from Zaragoza, 450 km from Madrid, a little over 340 km from Barcelona and about 300 km from Bilbao. Valencia is 450 km from the complex.
The Búbal Formigal 3000 complex covers an area of more than 3,000 square metres and offers guests a wide range of accommodation options with different capacity. There are twenty-nine apartments and four chalets in the complex.
The apartments have between one and four bedrooms (with double, twin and bunk beds) and a sofa bed. The typical configuration is one bedroom with a double bed and the other/s with twin beds, and the sofa bed in the lounge-dining room.
The lounge-dining room is large enough to cater for the maximum number of guests for each apartment and is suitably furnished for a comfortable stay.
Each apartment features a fully appointed bathroom and a newly refurbished kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, microwave and a small freezer. Cookware and tableware is provided to cover the needs of the guests accommodated in each apartment.
The chalets come with one, two, three and five bedrooms, accommodating a maximum of fourteen people. These free-standing buildings are perfect for groups of friends and families. Like the apartments, the bedrooms come with double, twin or bunk beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge-dining room.
All the chalets feature a newly refurbished kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine and a small freezer.
The complex also contains a large building with ten double bedrooms, ideal for large groups.
Both apartments and chalets come with bed linen and towels in winter (only bed linen in summer), but don’t include tablecloths or tea towels. Guests can indicate their preference for type of bed, although confirmation can’t be given until arrival. A small cleaning kit with new products is also provided.
The Búbal Formigal 3000 complex has a large green space ideal for allowing children to enjoy nature and the outdoors. This space includes a fantastic swimming pool for summer enjoyment, and wide lawns for sunbathing and reading. They adjoin the tennis and basketball courts and a great children’s play area to entertain the kids.
The complex also provides parking for all guests, plus landscaped areas and its own spring.
There is also a café for use by guests and visitors, and a mini supermarket for guests who need to purchase food or cleaning products for their stay.
